Cooper Electric Gives Back for Earth Day

Monroe, NJ – April 22, 2019 Cooper Electric teamed up with the Monroe Township Library to celebrate Earth day. Monroe branch manager, Jack Rovira, and Cooper’s marketing department visited the library to donate 300 Sylvania Light bulbs to be handed out to everyone who rents a book.

"Monroe Township was a wonderful place to grow up," said branch manager Jack Rovira. "It’s always been important that I give back to the community that raised me, and I’m thankful Cooper Electric gave me the opportunity to give back to my hometown. The donation of 300 LED bulbs will help the people of Monroe save money and will also help the environment."

In addition to giving library-goers the opportunity to go green, Cooper is also aiding the library in their quest to become more energy efficient. Cooper Electric’s Quick Lighting group created a plan to replace their old lighting sources to LED. With the updates, the Monroe Township Library will save approximately 75% on their energy costs.
