If you have any questions or need assistance with directions, please contact the Branch Manager, Jack Rovira at (609) 578-4696. One might even call it, the “counter of the future”. Watch the video below to learn more about the new Cranbury warehouse and how Cooper Electric is investing in operational excellence.
Cranbury Grand Opening

CRANBURY, NJ - The Cooper
Electric is pleased to announce that their corporate office has relocated to Cranbury,
NJ. The executive and corporate teams are working full time in the new
corporate office. Employees, customers and vendors will be informed as soon as
the warehouse and branch are fully relocated and operational.
At the heart of the company, is Cooper Electric’s new 650,000 square foot Central Distribution
Center (CDC). The new CDC contains many improvements over their former
facility, which was in Monroe Township, with the most obvious being size. To
provide a scope of this new investment, the previous CDC was 320,000 square
feet with 28 dock doors, 430 wire hanging positions, 6400 pallet positions and
36-foot ceilings. The new facility in Cranbury is an impressive 460,000 square
feet, with 76 dock doors, 1,200 wire hanging positions, 10,500 pallet positions,
and 38-foot ceilings.
Not
only impressive in size, but the new CDC is equipped with a Goods to Person
(GTP) Machine which increases CDC lines per hour capability from 60 to 200+. The
machine, which measures 300’ long, 35’ high and 35’ wide, will increase the
pick rate from 60-80 lines per hour to 200-250 lines per hour by utilizing
23-24,000 totes. Additionally, the machine’s robotic arm/pallet builder will
allow Cooper to build 5’ pallets in under 10 minutes, including shrink
wrap.
The
Monroe branch is relocating to the same facility in Cranbury on August 16, 2021. This
location will be Cooper Electric’s first “Digital Branch” where customers can
shop products on a kiosk to check local branch inventory and browse product specials.
One might even call it, the “counter of the future”.
