PowerPact™ R-frame electronic trip molded case circuit breakers are designed to protect electrical systems from damage caused by overloads, short circuits, and ground faults. All circuit breakers are designed to open and close a circuit by nonautomatic means and to open the circuit automatically on a predetermined overcurrent. Electronic trip molded case circuit breakers use an electronic trip system to signal the circuit breaker to open automatically. The PowerPact R-frame (3000A frame size) circuit breakers are dual rated to UL489 and IEC 60947-2. P-frame, R-frame molded case circuit breakers are available with either a basic ET 1.0I electronic trip system or with a more advanced Micrologic™ trip system. Electronic trip motor circuit protectors (trip system ET 1.0M), which trip on short circuit only, and automatic molded case switches, which trip at a predetermined self-protection level only, are also available for special applications. This PowerPact R, circuit breaker has a rated currrent of 1200A and a rated operational current of 600VAC with a breaking capacity of 50 kA@600VAC. This 3-pole breaker is a I-Line and has a continuous current rating of 100 %. This breaker has an electronic trip unit technology and a Micrologic 5.0 A trip unit.
