The non-IC recessed housing with trim can be installed in either new construction or remodel applications. The fixture is ideal for non-insulated areas. Any insulation must be spaced at least 3 inches from the fixture's housing. The round niche fixture produces focused accent lighting from a miniature 2-1/2-inch aperture.
