Overview
  • 4-inch metal duct connector ensures heavy duty, long lasting operation and the ability to stand up in severe environments
  • Housing pack includes rough-in housing with attached radiation/fire damper and adjustable hanger bars that span up to 24-inches to assist the initial part of locating dampers within the ventilation system
  • Radiation dampers are often required by code for multi-story residential buildings and help to prevent heat and flames from traveling through ductwork via a fire resistant curtain that automatically closes when excessive heat is detected. Sold as Project Packs only, requires purchase of housing and finish packs to complete the installation.
  • UL Classified (UL Standard 555C) for use in 1-, 2-, and 3-hour fire-rated floor-ceiling or roof-ceiling designs providing you with options for installation in the proper locations
  • Galvanized steel frame with stainless steel negator-type closure spring delivers a rugged damper and ensures a fire resistant screen that locks tight when activated
  • Bears the Warnock Hersey Mark (WH) to help ensure compliance to relevant building codes and product safety and performance standards so you have confidence in your choice
  • Fusible link holds screen open until it senses 165 degrees heat, then breaks to release the screen, effectively closing off the duct to help prevent heat or flames from spreading, keeping other areas in the building safer
