  • 1. Slide boot on the end of an unterminated Cat 5e/6 cable. At least one end of the cable needs to be unterminated.
  • 2. Install and terminateRJ-45 connector per connector instructions.
  • 3. Slide the boot over the back of connector so connector tab is partially covered by the hood dome of the boot.
  • 4. Boots are reusable if cable is disassembled.
