Type S reversing magnetic contactors are used to switch heating loads, capacitors, transformers, and electric motors where overload protection is provided separately. Type S reversing magnetic NEMA motor starters are for motor control applications. This enclosure is for 8702S reversing NEMA contactors or 8736S reversing NEMA motor starters Size 2. This NEMA 1 sheet steel enclosure is painted grey. Knockouts in the cover of this enclosure provide for field addition of Class 9999 rectangular cover mounted control units. Four 5/16 inch screws are used to mount this enclosure. Enclosure is 14.13 inches tall, 14.88 inches wide and 7.56 inches deep.
