Type S non-reversing magnetic starters are for motor control applications. NEMA Size 1 starters have ratings of 7.5 HP at 200 and 230 VAC and 10 HP at 460 and 575 VAC poly phase and has a maximum rating of 27 Amps. This 3 pole starter is for poly phase applications. The pressure wire connectors will accept 14 to 10 AWG (2.5 to 4 mm2) solid or stranded copper wire. Starter has a 208 VAC 60 Hz operating coil. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. A painted sheet steel NEMA 12/3R dust tight and drip tight enclosure is used to protect this starter. Enclosure is 12.75 inches tall, 6.38 inches wide and 8.53 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. Type S starters are UL listed and CSA certified for global applications.
