F Series safety switches provide significantly higher levels of mechanical endurance than NEMA Type KS-1 or UL98 standards require. The design life of a F-Series switch is a minimum of three times the NEMA requirement. The more copper for current carrying paths, the lower the temperature rise. Managing temperatures inside the switch is the key to providing greater service life. This heavy duty Single Throw Safety Switch has a rated current of 100A and has a NEMA 4X degree of protection. This fusible disconnect has a short circuit rating of 200kA@600VAC. This safety switch has a fiberglass reinforced polyester enclosure and is surface mounted. This product os compatable with H or K, R, J or L fuses. The acceptable AWG gauge for this product is AWG 12 / AWG 1/0, aluminiumand has a tightening torque of 50-50 lbf.in.
