Disconnect can be inserted and removed from the male tab without the use of tools for lower installed cost. Unique locking mechanism design allows for low insertion forces (mating) and positive lock for high vibration applications where a secure connection is mandatory. Fully insulated design provides protection from electrical shorts. Flared barrel extension integrated into stamping to provide insulation grip for double crimp requirements. Insulation housing moves back and forth to engage and disengage locking mechanism for repeated use. Specialty tool required to install this disconnect (CT-1014). Mates with DNF-FIMB family. UL Flammability UL 94V-2/HB, maximum insulation temperature 221 Degrees Fahrenheit (105 Degrees Celsius). UL and CSA rated up to 300 Volts per UL 310.
