Type S non-reversing magnetic starters are for motor control applications. NEMA Size 1 starters have ratings of 7.5 HP at 200 and 230 VAC and 10 HP at 460 and 575 VAC poly phase and has a maximum rating of 27 Amps. This 3 pole starter is for poly phase applications. The box lug connectors will accept 6 to 2/0 AWG (16 to 50 mm2) solid or stranded copper or aluminum wire. Starter has a 208 VAC 60 Hz operating coil. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. This contactor doesn't have an enclosure. Starter is 6.77 inches tall, 3.50 inches wide and 4.22 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. Type S starters are UL listed and CSA certified for global applications.
