This I/O module is part of the Modicon Momentum range, an offer of controller and IP20 monoblock I/Os for distributed control architecture. It is a discrete solid state I/O base for DC. This Modicon base supports one group of 16 inputs. Momentum I/O base supports the whole control system. On the front, 16 LEDs show channel status. It is certified FM Class 1 Division 2, CSA, and UL. It weighs 0.19kg. The I/O base provides the foundation for the rest of the Momentum control system. It complies with IEC 61131-2 Type 1 standard. A Momentum I/O base is to be assembled with a communication adapter or a processor adapter. Momentum I/O base has mounting holes for a panel mount and a locking tab for a DIN rail mount. Momentum I/O bases offer simple plug-in terminal strips. Modicon Momentum is a flexible, modular family of fundamental components. Modicon Momentum products are specially designed for material handling, simple machine control, and building automation applications.
