Square D 8538SBG11V02S <1000 VAC Motor Control Starter

Type S nonreversing fusible and nonfusible combination starters are for motor control applications. Combination starters combine the requirements for motor overload and short circuit protection into one package. This NEMA Size 1 starter has a rating of up to 5HP at 240VAC three phase. This is non-fusible combination starter that has non-fusible disconnect switch. This 3 pole starter is for three phase applications. Combination starters are available with a wide variety of replaceable coil voltages. Starter has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz operating coil wired for separate control. This nonreversing NEMA combination starter has a melting alloy type overload relay which uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. A painted sheet steel NEMA 3R/12 Dusttight and driptight industrial enclosure with external reset is used to protect this starter. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. This combination starter is supplied with fused transformer. Transformer has a 480VAC primary and a 120VAC secondary. This combination starters is supplied with a HOA selector switch, a red and green pilot light, auxiliary contacts and an interlock on disconnect. Type S combination starters are UL listed and CSA certified.
