Easy Heat® PolarGuard™ Pipe freeze prevention cable. FPC-series suitable for use on plastic or metal pipes in ordinary locations. PolarGuard™ is engineered to vary its heat output with changes in surrounding temperature. The automatic thermostat has been added to turn off power to the cable when freeze prevention is not needed. Because of the self-regulating feature of this cable, it can be safely wrapped over itself (overlapped), when installed on pipes, valves or flanges. Pre-terminated and self-regulating includes thermostat and lighted plug. Nominal 5 W/ft at 0.C, 120 VAC. CSA Certified.
