The Polaris ISPBO2/0B Multi-Tap Direct Burial Submersible Offset Port Connector features 3 ports, two on one side and one on the other, sized for 2/0 - 14 AWG wires. The body is made from aluminum alloy wrapped in a layer of high-dielectric strength rubber insulation. Each offset port is pre-loaded with an oxide inhibitor, with removable access plugs over the hex screws used to tighten the radial-tipped set screws. Installs with a hex key and torque wrench, without any tape or additional supplies. Meets or exceeds UL486D and ANSI C119.1 specifications for use in wet or damp locations and designed for use in a wide range of temporary submersal or burial splicing applications.
