This Secure interface is part of the Modicon M171/M172/M173 range, a control offer for HVAC/Pumping applications. This IIoT Secure interface gateway is designed to establish a secure Internet connection and to connect unsafe devices to a secure Ethernet network. It runs on 24Vac 50/60 Hz or 20…38Vdc power supply and gets a double Ethernet port with switch capabilities. The Secure interface Gateway ensures a cyberSecure connection to M172 and M171 Optimized controllers, including Modbus devices. It is fit with a RS485 serial port, to communicate with a controller via Modbus RTU connection, and supplied with removable terminal blocks fbus connections. It figures a memory card slot (Micro SD), programmable LEDs (red, yellow, green) and power LED (green). Its size is 4 DIN. It measures 72mm wide, 60mm deep, 110mm high, and weighs 0.165kg.
