This welding helmet with 9100XXi auto darkening filter (ADF) allows you to more readily recognize colors with greater peripheral vision compared to our other models. Improved vision may help you focus on welding setup, welding technique, precision grinding and inspection of just-completed welds. The 9100XXi featuring 3M Speedglas Natural Color Technology helps assists in enhanced weld puddle control with a view that appears lighter, brighter and more realistic. Three arc detection sensors in the lens activate the auto darkening filter quickly after striking an arc. Selectable dark shades 5, 8, 9 through 13 with a light shade of 3 and a viewing area of 72 mm X 107 mm. The 3M Speedglas Silver Front Panel 9100XXi houses external controls, enabling fast and easy access to the grinding and memory modes without removing safety gloves.
