Deep Scan mode finds the edges of wood or metal studs up to 1-1/2 (38 mm) deep for thick construction such as plywood, paneling or tile over drywall. Non-contact detection of AC voltage. Senses the changes in subsurface densities to pinpoint studs and joists, while detecting unshielded AC voltage.
