This product is part of the XCS range, an offer of safety switches. The safety interlock switch protects machine operators by stopping the machine when the guard or door opens, withdrawing the actuator attached to the machine guard from the head of the switch. It has 2 normally closed, slow break, simultaneous contacts, normally closed contact with positive opening operation. It is an interlock switch with a rated operational current of 0.55A at 24V, 0.75A at 240V and 4A conventional enclosed thermal current. It is furnished with spring terminal for electrical connection and 3 entries tapped for M20 x 1.5. It is an IP66 and IP67 rated product. It has a key operated turret head. It offers mechanical durability of about 1 million cycles and 10 cycles/minute for maximum durability. Its dimensions are 44mm (width) x 51mm (depth) x 205mm (height) and weighs 0.53kg. It is ideal for all the dangerous machines with free access requiring a zone protection for the security of operators and machines, such as packaging, handling, robotics, machine tools, presses and automotive sector.
