The Polaris IT-3/0CB Multi-Tap Dual-Sided Entry Vision Tap Connector features 2 ports sized for 3/0 - 6 AWG wires. The clear body allows users to see their conductor placement and is wrapped in a layer of plastisol insulation. Each port is pre-loaded with an oxide inhibitor, with removable access plugs over the hex screws used to tighten the connections. Installs with a hex key and torque wrench, without any tape or additional supplies, and comes packaged in a clear plastic bag with a mounting hole for hanging in retail displays. Designed for use in a wide range of splicing applications, including installation in cable trays, panel boards, ducts, raceways or troughs.
