The Lutron Maestro Dual Dimmer/Timer control packs multiple features into a single control. The top section is a dimmer switch that works with up to 300W Incandescent/Halogen bulbs. The bottom section is a timer switch that works with up to 2.5A general purpose fans, 300W ELV/Incandescent/Halogen bulbs, or 250W MLV loads. The Maestro dimmer portion has a delayed fade to off, which gives you time to exit a room by slowly fading the light off. The soft glowing lights on the side of the dimmer switch show the preset lighting control and also serve as an indicator light in a dark room. Press the tap switch once to toggle light ON/OFF, Double-tap to turn lights on to full intensity, or press & hold for delayed fade-to-off. The Maestro Timer portion helps you save money and energy by automatically turning off the lights and fans after a preset time. Use the tap switch to turn the timer on and off and use the rocker on the side to set the timer to the desired time-out option, anywhere from 5-60 minutes. Softly lit orange lights indicate the time remaining before turn-off. Top green LED indicator light labeled ON, has no time limit. The bottom LED blinks rapidly to indicate one minute of time remaining. The Maestro Dual Dimmer/Timer switch is great for bathrooms, using the dimmer on the vanity lights, and the timer on the exhaust fan. Using a timer on exhaust fans helps to reduce moisture, mold, and mildew growth in bathrooms. Available in 10+ colors.
