NC trim fronts for interiors rated up to 250A may be screwed directly to the deadfront of the NF or NQ panelboard. NC trim fronts for interiors rated 400A or greater are vented and designed to be screwed directly to the Type 1, 2 enclosure of the NF or NQ panelboard.
