The TX6A™ Cat 6A U/UTP copper cable is constructed of 23 AWG copper conductors with FEP insulation. The copper conductors are twisted in pairs and separated by a cross divider. All four pairs are surrounded by a non-conductive foil tape and a flame-retardant PVC jacket. The foil tape suppresses the effects of alien crosstalk. The blue, plenum (CMP) cable is supplied 1,000 feet (305 meters) to a reel.
