3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 420 is a toughened two-part epoxy structural adhesive that provides high impact and fatigue resistance to meet challenging bonding operations and can replace mechanical fasteners, screws, rivets, and spot welds in many applications. It works well on a variety of substrates, such as metals, ceramics, wood, glass, various composites, and many types of plastics while withstanding paint bake tasks in temperatures up to 400 .F (204 .C) for 60 minutes. The product is a versatile solution for joining, gluing, potting, panel, and structural bonding in a variety of industries, including sporting goods, metalworking, general industrial, and transportation industries. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive 420 allows up to 20 minutes to reposition the project and is fully cured in 24 hours (at 73 .F/23 .C). Meeting the standard for UL 94 HB, the product is available in both bulk or a Duo-Pak (DP); when using this adhesive in Duo-Pak form, rely on 3M Applicators for convenient and accurate metering, mixing, and dispensing.
