This product is part of the XC Standard range, an offer of limit switches. The miniature limit switch is a device that converts a mechanical motion into an electrical control signal. It has 1 normally closed + 1 normally opened, snap action contacts with positive opening operation. It is a safety switch with a rated operational current of 1.5A at 240V AC and 0.1A at 250V AC. It is furnished with a fixed cable for electrical connection. It is an IP65 and IK04 rated product. It has a spring return metal plunger, supports vertical approach in 1 direction. It offers mechanical durability of about 5 million operating cycles and electrical durability of about 5 million operating cycles. This plunger (linear) head limit switch has a fixed type body which is made of plastic. Its dimensions are 30mm (width) x 16mm (depth) x 60mm (height) and weighs 0.08kg. It is intended for all industrial machine application such as packaging, materials handling, conveying, machining, food and beverage, service sector, etc. This product is certified by UL, CSA and CCC. It complies with UL 508, EN/IEC 60947-5-1, EN/IEC 60204-1 and CSA C22.2 No 14 standards. European standard products (EN 50047) have positive opening contacts, even in snap action versions which allow use in safety applications. Limit switch with monolithic plastic version is dedicated to repetitive machines. The IEC limit switch offers a positive opening on all snap and slow-break contacts, for safer machinery. Switch is available with modular design for easier maintenance.
