Its color makes it ideal for systematic color coding of complex wiring installations. Commonly used to shield cable harnesses in battery powered vehicles, such as hybrid cars, golf carts and light trucks.

Applications
Standard PET (polyethylene terepthalate) grade braided sleeving is a general purpose and economical material for indoor and outdoor applications. PET braided sleeving provides good resistance against cuts and abrasions, is resistant to chemical degradation and UV radiation. Fllexible, lightweight and durable, PET's construction allows it to expand over a variety of cable shapes and diameter sizes. Orange color sleeving is used for safety identification in electric powered vehicles.
