The EZ Path Series 44+ Fire-Rated Pathway is designed for high cable volume conditions through fire-rated walls and floors while eliminating the burden of ongoing maintenance. The Series 44+ incorporates self-sealing intumescent pads that automatically adjust to the installed cable fill without the need for user manipulation. Under fire exposure, the intumescent pads expand and swell resisting the passage of smoke and flame.

The fire rated pathway shall contain a built-in fire sealing system sufficient to maintain the hourly fire rating of the barrier being penetrated. The self-contained sealing system shall automatically adjust to the installed cable loading and shall permit cables to be installed, removed, or retrofitted without the need to remove or reinstall firestop materials. The pathway shall be UL Certified and/or FM Systems Approved and tested to the requirements of ASTM E814 (UL1479) and CAN/ULC-S115.

  • SpeedFlex Track Top Gasket (TTG) is a patented thin profile intumescent cover for gypsum wall framing for tracks, runners and studs that is designed to provide fire, smoke and acoustical ratings for head of wall joints, wall to wall joints, bottom of wall joints and perimeter fire-barrier between gypsum wall(s) and concrete. TTG is compatible with most ceiling track and provides an economical method of providing the required seal in rated and non-rated wall construction. Installed on the track prior to installation, the wall is effectively sealed against fire, smoke, and sound transmission during the construction process, thereby providing cost savings. TTG allows up to 100% movement. The red color is easy to identify and easy to inspect, and it is not susceptible to cracking, sagging, or dripping.
