Square D 8810SCO4V02S 110/120 VAC 27 Amp 10 Hp 3-Phase 5-Pole Open Type 2-Speed Non-Reversing Magnetic Starter

Type S nonreversing and reversing multispeed magnetic starters are for motor control applications. Starters combine the requirements for motor overload and short circuit protection into one package. Multispeed motors are available in two basic versions: 1) single winding (consequent pole), and 2) two windings (separate winding). A separate winding motor has a winding for each speed while a consequent pole motor has a winding for every two speeds (three speed motors have two windings). This multispeed magnetic starter has two windings (separate winding). This NEMA Size 1 starter has a rating of up to 10HP at 575VAC three phase. Starters are available with a wide variety of replaceable coil voltages. Starter has a 8810SCO4V02S operating coil wired for separate control. This unit has a melting alloy type overload relay which uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. A NEMA Two Speed Combination Starters is used to protect this starter. A wide variety of accessories are available for multispeed magnetic starters. This combination starter is supplied with a separate control unit. Multispeed magnetic starters are UL listed and CSA certified.
