George to the Rescue, the NBC show starring George Oliphant, featured Cooper Electric as one of his vendors, in the April 7, 2018 episode.
George helps deserving families upgrade their homes to be more family friendly. In the episode, George performed a kitchen and bedroom renovation for the Callahan family of Maplewood, NJ. Dan, Harlene, and their three children Dan, Julia, and Andrew, have lived in their family home for over 20 years. When Dan and Harlene’s daughter Julia was 3, she developed what doctors thought were adolescent seizures, however, they continued to happen as she grew, causing her serious physical and cognitive disabilities.
The Callahan’s work tirelessly to ensure their children live happy lives, with family dinners being a staple of their daily routine. Everyone chips in to cook and clean dinner, which was sometimes difficult due to the small size of their kitchen. George and his team worked together to provide the Callahan’s with a kitchen that was more functional, so that the family could prepare their meals with ease. His team also did a renovation on Dan and Andrew’s room, providing them more storage and a space that they could relax in at the end of the day.
Cooper is proud to have been featured on George to the rescue, and hopes the Callahan family enjoys their new kitchen and bedroom!
