George to the Rescue

George helps deserving families upgrade their homes to be more family friendly. In the episode, George performed a basement and exterior renovation for the Padilla family of Williston Park, NY. Jen, Miguel, and their two children Alec, Isabel are first time homeowners. Miguel came to America from El Salvador when he was young, leaving behind his mother. He put himself through carpentry school, taught himself English and although he faced many obstacles, he persevered to become an American citizen.

The Padilla family works tirelessly to ensure their children live happy lives, but Miguel struggles to spend time with his family because he is split between work and finishing renovations in their home. With a basement renovation, Miguel can finally put down his tools, and spend time with his family. George and his team worked together to provide the Padilla’s with a basement that was both kid and adult friendly, so the Padilla family can enjoy the space together.

Cooper is proud to have been featured on George to the rescue, and hopes the Padilla family enjoys their new basement, roof and siding!
